Like A Daisy is a non-profit organization established in loving memory of Samantha Eliades, who lived with Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS). Samantha passed away, unexpectedly, on September 28, 2023, from a pulmonary embolism.

Throughout her 34 years, Samantha's spirit shone brightly. Known for her singing, dancing, warm embraces, and the beaded bracelets she lovingly crafted for family and friends, she had an extraordinary ability to bring joy to those around her. Her impact on the world continues through Like A Daisy, as demonstrated through it's mission to enhance the lives of individuals with disabilities through organized social events, advocacy work, and reconnecting them with their faith.

The name Like A Daisy is inspired by Samantha’s cherished saying, “I slept like a daisy,” a delightful twist on "slept like a baby." It's a phrase she shared with her sister, Marissa, during their last phone call, the day before she passed. Through Like A Daisy, we strive to keep Samantha’s spirit alive, bringing smiles and support to those in need.
